Administration Halts CT Offshore Wind Project
The Trump administration has ordered construction stopped on Revolution Wind, Connecticut's only offshore wind project, citing national security concerns. The $4 billion project is 80% complete with 45 of 65 turbines already installed, and was scheduled to provide power to Connecticut and Rhode Island by 2026. The halt affects construction jobs at the State Pier in New London. Source: hartfordbusiness.com
